Definition
- A MEASURE OF THE OVERALL EFFICIENCY OF A BUILDING. THIS RATING IS BASED ON THE PERFORMANCE OF THE BUILDING AND ITS FIXED SERVICES (SUCH AS HEATING AND LIGHTING). THE HIGHER THE RATING THE MORE ENERGY EFFICIENT THE HOME IS.
