IN ENGLAND AND WALES, MONEY PAID UNDER THE 'CRIMINAL INJURIES COMPENSATION SCHEME' IS CONTROLLED BY A GOVERNMENT ORGANISATION, THE 'CRIMINAL INJURIES COMPENSATION AUTHORITY'.
