Definition
- A PRIVATE AND STRUCTURED FORM OF NEGOTIATION ASSISTED BY A THIRD PARTY THAT IS INITIALLY NON-BINDING. IF A SETTLEMENT IS REACHED THE MEDIATOR CAN DRAW UP AN AGREEMENT THAT CAN THEN BECOME A LEGALLY BINDING CONTRACT.
